This past week has been really uneventful, so this update will be short. To be honest, I can’t think of a single noteworthy thing that has happened over the past week. I’ve just been doing a lot of reading and watching spooky movies to get into the spirit of Halloween. Everything is set and ready to go for our small family Halloween party. I’m so excited! I think that I may prefer Halloween nights in to driving around trick-or-treating.
Ross has been home and mostly sober all week. It’s been nice having him here, even if he is tiered and lethargic most of the time. I hope this lasts. I have found it funny that, even though he has been at home more recently, we have been spending most of our time in different rooms. The thing is, we can’t agree on what to watch on t.v. We have completely different tastes in entertainment. I have been more into spooky movies, dramas, and thrillers. He has been more into action flicks, which I usually don’t enjoy. The only thing we both like to watch is comedy, and we haven’t been able to find anything in that genre that we haven’t already seen. Oh well, at least he is home and sober. I’m thankful for that.
My mental health has been pretty good lately. I am really grateful for whatever has helped me to balance out this past week. Maybe its the increase in my medication? Or maybe its just been a mellow week?
Lastly, I think that I have decided to move forward with creating a separate blog for my religious/spiritual studies. I am still working on building it, and it will take me a while to get it the way that I want it, but I will share it with you guys when its ready incase you want to check it out. Because I am a Christian, much of the new blog will focus on Bible study. However, I’m a pretty openminded individual, and I hope to study and explore other faiths and philosophies on my new blog in the future.
How has your week been? Do you have any fun plans for Halloween? I would love to hear from you in the comment section below. If you enjoyed this post, please shoot me a like, comment, or follow.
